Margo Hannah, a longtime collaborator and friend, was recently featured in a sound series hosted by Scaffold Sounds titled 'Environmental Play'. The series draws attention to the space around us and how our efforts can, and should, directly shape it. We were thrilled to receive images from her test set, where she wears our brand. The set took place at Quiet Hours for Scaffold Sounds, with photography by Max Machado. For those unfamiliar, a test shoot typically takes place prior to a live recording or production, allowing the creative to experiment ahead of the final outcome.

I find the concept of Environmental Play especially compelling, particularly as our studio’s work centers on the environment, how we move within it, the people who shape it, and the ways we influence both the natural and built world around us. It feels like a natural cohesion, which is why we chose to highlight this work.
There’s something about these in-between moments that feels just as important as the final outcome. It’s where intention is tested, where environment and movement begin to inform one another. In many ways, it reflects how we approach design, considering how a garment exists not in isolation, but in constant dialogue with the space and the body wearing it.
Margo wears our Blue Hooded Cotton Sweatshirt during her test set, a piece that shifts with her as she moves through sound and space, becoming part of the atmosphere rather than separate from it. You can find the full video set here on Youtube.
